FINAL  VVCS  LITTLE LEAGUE INFO

Thank you for joining in the fun with us!  We look forward to getting acquainted with the children and enjoying this sport.  Here is the latest and final information: 

-Coaches, Asst. Coaches, Team names, colors and Team Moms have been assigned and they will be contacting you soon!   

-The cost of $50.00 per person covers the child's t-shirt, hat, participation award (medal), game fees, etc.  

*The hat will be gray & the pants you buy will be gray so you will be able to continue using these in future league sports (these must be replaced at the parent's expense)

-Students need to have gray baseball pants and rubber cleats (cleats optional)

-Students need to bring their bats, gloves, and helmets to all practices and games 

-A pitching machine will be used with a "softie" softball (at least at the beginning) 

-Teams will be co-ed (2nd-3rd grade teams and 4th-5th grade teams) 

-Practices will be every Friday, once per week from 5:00pm-6:30pm at VVCS starting on  Friday 3/12/10  

 -Games will be once per week on Saturdays at 9:00am or 11:00am (see game schedule) at VVCS, games starting on 3/20/10  

-NO PRACTICE OR GAME on Saturday, April 3rd (Easter weekend) 

-Games are one and one half hours OR 6 innings 

-T-shirts will be given out at practice on 3/19/10 

-The season will run through May 1, 2010

-Coaches will be contacting you with individual team info

-The $50.00 fee must be paid in the school office by Friday, 3/19/10  (in order to play

-Basketball will start in the summer (sign ups will be in  late March)

 -NEEDED  DOCUMENTS:  

- parent signature (sign up on roster in the office)

-copy of the child's birth certificate

-a copy of student's medical insurance card 

-a waiver signed by parent 

-$50.00 check to VVCS for League fees
