The schedule is finished and juniors and
seniors are busy choosing their classes for the 2009/2010 school year.
If you are not yet registered for next year, please do so as soon as
possible so that you can have first choice for classes this coming school year!
I am always asked, “What will be new and better next year at VVCS?”
We are proud to say that there will be several new classes that we are
excited about. First, Mrs. Cruthers
will be using her experience to bring AP Psychology to our campus.
Another new AP class we will be offering is AP European History.
Both of these classes have been added in an on going effort to make our
AP program the strongest in the area. I
am very confident that this year’s scores will be the highest since we began
our AP program.
For our international students, we will be adding an ESL class to our
schedule. This class will be taught
by Mrs. Clarkson. Finally, we will
be offering two new semester Bible classes for our juniors and seniors.
The first semester will be “Understanding
the Times” and the second semester will be “Apologetics”.
Our parents can rest
assured that academics continue to be a critical element of our school.
